My Vespa T5 siezed just before Needles, California while on Interstate 40. This was due to the 115 degree heat. When it happened there was a big rig right behind me. I was shaken up, and decided not to continue riding on the backup bike. At the junction of the road to Las Vegas, Pete decided to head north. Don and I headed for home in the truck, following old Route 66.
